Satellite Internet access
VSAT provides Satellite Internet access, which is an excellent choice for multi-user business customers located in rural or other under-served areas where conventional broadband data service is not cost-effectively available. With satellite Internet access, it doesn't matter how far the customer is from the telephone company central office, or depend on other location specific criteria to determine service quality or cost.
With Satellite Internet access you’re able to transmit and receive data with a relatively small satellite dish on Earth.
Voice over IP (VoIP)
In recent years, Internet telephony has revolutionized the phone market, this accelerated adoption of VoIP in the world has many sources:

Teleskies One WAY
The one-way system, employs a satellite dish receiver, a DVB-IP modem and a wired internet connection :
• When you make requests to the Internet (Upload) it passes through the existant internet connection (dial-up, dsl …etc)
• Then all the responses (Downloads) are sent directly to you at high speed via the satellite link, the incoming signals are then received through the dish and then decrypted by the DVB-IP modem.
